On the Farm
Radio with Jeff Ishee informs farmers, agribusiness and the rural
community on matters affecting their economic livelihood and quality of
life. The program made it’s debut in January, 2002 on WSVA in
Harrisonburg, VA and is now broadcast in two editions: National Edition
and Mid-Atlantic Region.
On the Farm
is broadcast each weekday and Saturday. The show provides
coverage of farm news combined with helpful tips for rural lifestyles.
Today’s farmer depends on radio to stay
informed. A radio is nearly always accessible to our listeners, with an
average of eight radios per farm.
The program reports on crop, livestock
and equine operations, including:
