Farmland in NE region of US increased by $140 per acre last year

WASHINGTON, DC - The value of cropland in Delaware increased by nearly 6 percent last year according to a new report from the USDA National Agriculture Statistics Service. Cropland in Pennsylvania increased by 2 percent, while remaining relatively stead in Maryland and New York State.


The largest increase in pasture value occurred in Pennsylvania, where values went up 4.8 percent.
