Teachers encouraged to apply for "On the Farm STEM" experience

Science and ag teachers in the U.S. are being encouraged to apply for a professional development program this summer that emphasizes STEM, which is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and math.
The program is described as a “4-day in-the-field immersive experience,” where teachers will travel to Denver, Colorado to learn about technology and science as it applies to agriculture. Hotel accommodations, all meals, and a travel allowance are all included. More information at the web site onthefarmstem.com.

WHAT: Two pre-webinars leading to a 4-day in-the-field immersive experience, one post-webinar, and a structure professional development community.
WHEN: June 11 – 14, 2023
WHERE: Online & in-person (Denver, Colorado)
WHO: Science Educators (accepting individuals and teams) Only 30 participants will be selected!
APPLY: December 12 - February 24, 2023
CREDITS: Participants can earn up to 40 CEU of professional development hours.
Expenses Covered
Up to $750 of approved travel expenses reimbursed. (Approved expenses include flight, mileage, rental car, public transportation, food en-route. Alcoholic beverages will not be reimbursed. Additional details will be provided to selected applicants.)
