U.S. tractor sales down 12% in April

Agri Marketing magazine reports:
According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers' monthly "Flash Report," the sales of all tractors during April 2025, in the U.S., were down 12% from the same month last year.
In April, a total of 22,201 tractors were sold, which compares to 25,317 sold in 2024.
For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 10% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 7%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 29%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were down 41%.

Combine sales in April totaled 414, down 32% from last year.
For the year, tractor sales were down 12%. Smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 10%, while 40 and under 100 HP are down 24%. Sales of 4-wheel drive tractors are down 37%.
Combine sales totaled 414 through April, which is 48% below 2024.
